Meet one of Our Adorable Dog Training Clients from Mount Kisco NY!

This amazing adorable girl is Ruby! Ruby was apart of our puppy training program which is focused on teaching your dog the basic foundations they need to set them up to be successful in their future training. Ruby started our training program at around 3 months old and we had a special plan for Ruby because she lives on a horse farm with her amazingly dedicated mom and brother. Ruby needy to become comfortable with so many different objects, sounds, animals, people. Picking the right dog trainer for ruby was also especially important for Ruby because the farm is also a therapeutic riding farm for veterans and children with disabilities. Her brother is about as solid as they come with everything that goes on all around them. Ruby needed help, she was fearful of certain people, vacuums, trucks. We worked hard to get ruby to be able to be comfortable around all of these noises and people in order for her to be able to accompany her mom all the time. Ruby is the most fun to work with, she has spunk and is one of the sweetest dogs. I always have a great time helping out those who have problems with dogs on farms and other animal trainers. We worked to counter-condition and desensitize Ruby to all these fearful things because she would try to dart away in the barn when she was scared which could cause injury to another person, dog or horse. We also worked on building Ruby’s retrieval of tennis balls to live up to her Labrador Retriever breed! She is now a great retriever and is improving everyday in her fearfulness. Ruby will have more updates coming as she continues to work with us as she grows up for more advanced training for tasks and control at the farms.
